Surah Memorization (Hifz)
The Surah Memorization (Hifz) course is designed to help students memorize selected Surahs from the Holy Qur’an with accuracy, discipline, and consistency. This course encourages students to build a strong connection with the Qur’an while developing the ability to retain and recall verses confidently.
Students follow a structured memorization plan based on their age, ability, and learning pace. Each lesson focuses on memorizing small portions of the Qur’an step-by-step, making the process manageable and effective. Teachers guide students in correct pronunciation and help them understand how to memorize verses with clarity.
A key part of the memorization process is regular revision (Muraja’ah). Students are guided to revise previously memorized Surahs to strengthen retention and prevent forgetting. Continuous practice and revision ensure that memorization remains strong and accurate.
Throughout the course, teachers provide encouragement, motivation, and personalized support to help students stay committed to their memorization journey. The goal is to help students memorize the Qur’an with proper recitation while nurturing love and respect for the words of Allah.
Millions of people die each year from preventable and curable diseases, including approximately 15,000 children every single day. These deaths (and the considerable suffering caused by these types of disease) can be prevented with proven treatments and techniques — that’s why we’ve eradicated these diseases in higher-income countries. The organisations implementing these interventions in lower-income countries, however, are perpetually underfunded.
