Tajweed (Basic • Intermediate • Advanced)
Tajweed is the science of reciting the Holy Qur’an correctly, giving every letter its proper rights and characteristics as it was revealed. Our Tajweed course helps students understand and apply the rules of correct Qur’anic pronunciation so that their recitation becomes clear, accurate, and beautiful.
In the Basic level, students learn the fundamental rules of Tajweed such as correct articulation points of letters (Makharij), characteristics of letters (Sifaat), and essential rules like Noon Sakinah, Meem Sakinah, and basic elongation (Madd). This level helps students correct common pronunciation mistakes and build a strong foundation for proper recitation.
In the Intermediate level, students deepen their understanding of Tajweed rules and learn how to apply them consistently while reciting the Qur’an. Topics include different types of Madd, rules of stopping and starting (Waqf & Ibtida), and improving rhythm and fluency in recitation.
In the Advanced level, students refine their recitation to a higher standard by mastering the detailed application of Tajweed rules. This level focuses on precision, consistency, and beautifying the recitation while maintaining accuracy in every letter and word.
Through live one-to-one online sessions, qualified teachers guide students with careful listening, correction, and practice. The goal of this course is not only to learn the rules of Tajweed but also to develop the ability to recite the Qur’an in a manner that reflects its beauty, respect, and authenticity.
